When you have a baby this cute, you’ve just got to take pictures. Meet Bear, the most chill, chubby sweet little 3 month old ever. His parents are pretty awesome too 🙂 Jordan, Nikki, Bear and I ventured up to the mountains to take some snowy family photos in the forest. Here are a few of my favorites from their cozy, wintery family session.
I love family reunions! There’s something so awesome about getting the entire family together for a weekend to reconnect and make memories. As a kid growing up in Wisconsin, I lived within 10 minutes of over 40 of my cousins. Some of my best memories are playing with my cousins on our farm, making mud pies and forts in the hay barn.
Times have changed and now families – including mine – are spread out all over the country. That’s why it is so great to have family reunions. I had the opportunity to photograph a number of large family portraits for some family reunions this summer in Sunriver, Oregon. One of my favorites was this lively crew. They had 12 kids under the age of 8 and it was awesome! I love kids, the more the merrier! (And sidenote, the beautiful patchwork quilts were lovingly stitched together by one of the sisters.)
I’ve lived in the high desert for about 8 years now and have photographed hundreds of couples in Central Oregon. There’s something about the way the sun lights up the landscape just before sunset that continues to inspire and amaze me. Throw in a love story and you’ve got something magical.
Meet Andrew and Amanda. I love this couple – not just because they have awesome names (my hubby is also named Andrew – crazy right?!) They are sweet, fun and up for an adventure. I’m super excited to photograph their wedding in August out in Sisters, Oregon. Here are a few favorite photographs from their Bend, Oregon engagement session. 🙂
Every bride has some piece of their wedding that they love the most. For some it’s their wedding bouquet, others the cake, often times it’s their wedding dress. But for Claire? It was the awesome vintage camper they rented as their hide out before the wedding. Having gotten to know Benn and Claire a little bit through their South Sister Engagement Session and over a few cups of coffee, I think it fit them so well and their love of adventuring with their puppies in the great outdoors.
Here are a few highlight photographs from their Aspen Hall Wedding in Bend, Oregon. Cheers!
Meet Benn and Claire, two adventurers who love the mountains, their pups, micro breweries and of course, each other. They chose to do their engagement photos in a place they both love – Dutchman Flats because you can see the reason we all live here – mountains. With South Sister and Broken Top as our backdrop, we hiked a little way into the trees with their two loyal puppies, cracked open some beers and made some memories. I really loved getting to know Benn and Claire and am so honored to have had the opportunity to do engagement photos for them and also photograph their wedding. Here are a couple highlights of their engagement session…enjoy!
